ARTIST STATEMENT:
“I have always been interested in the concept that life can be experienced all at once. I started to explore this idea through my passion of photography and through a process of layering and manipulating photos to make one single image with a variety of experiences. This series focuses on the day to day experiences one my have in an urban environment. It is colorful, fast, chaotic, and alway moving.” ~Madison Galloway

ARTIST BIO:
Madison Galloway is a Des Moines native artist currently living in Chicago, IL. From a young age Madison developed a love for creating; always coloring, crafting, and making things from objects around the house. As she got older she started branching out and explored a multitude of art classes from drawing and painting, to sculpture, to metal smithing. After accepting her attendance at Loras College in Dubuque, Madison started exploring more of the digital side of art. She directed and produced a variety of award-winning films and documentaries and started to expanding into animation, digital graphics, and photography. Upon graduating Loras, Madison continued her love for creating and has been featured in a variety of galleries and film festivals in the Iowa and Chicago areas.
